Privacy Policy
This policy explains what KinetixClient collects when you use the website, dashboard and API, why we collect it and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, display name and a salted hash of your password. We never store your password itself.
- Optional details: your Minecraft username if you add it.
- Discord: if you sign in with or link Discord, your Discord user id, username, avatar and, if Discord shares it, your verified email address.
- Your setups: the names and codes you save in the dashboard.
- Sessions and security data: when you sign in we keep your IP address and browser details for up to 30 days, and counters of recent sign-in attempts by IP address and email for up to 24 hours, to protect accounts from abuse.
How we use it
We use this data to run your account, show your dashboard, link your Discord, protect the service and send the emails described below. We do not sell your data and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers.
Emails
We only send transactional emails: confirming your email address and resetting your password. We do not send marketing email.
Cookies
We set one strictly necessary cookie, kx_session, that keeps you signed in. It is HttpOnly and expires after 30 days. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
Who processes your data
- Cloudflare hosts the website, API and database and delivers traffic securely.
- Resend delivers our emails.
- Discord receives the sign-in request if you choose to use Discord.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data until you delete your account. Deleting it from the dashboard removes your account, saved setups, Discord link and sessions. Short-lived security data expires on its own as described above.
Your choices
You can change your name and Minecraft username, set a password, unlink Discord and delete your account in the dashboard. You can also ask for a copy of your data or for corrections through our Discord server.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we update the date at the top of this page.
